Britt Byrne

Britt was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas and in 2012 graduated from Texas Tech University with a Fine Arts degree (BFA). She spent eight years in the corporate world and in July of 2020 made the leap to focus on painting. She specializes in fine art and oil paintings with a western-contemporary flare. Having grown up in West Texas she is heavily influenced by cacti, thunderclouds, and colorful skies. She also loves to pull inspiration from photography; her favorite source is her travels, especially within Texas. Britt now lives and works full-time as a painter in Dallas, Texas. Britt has participated in art shows including the 2020 Magic Hour Fall Show at the Dutch Art Gallery in Dallas, TX, and the Spring 2022 edition of The Other Art Fair Dallas by Saatchi Art. She has also been a participant in the Art on the Llano Estacado Exhibition held at the Museum of Texas Tech University where she received the 'Patron's Choice Award' in 2022.
