I didn’t start out to become a photographer, but somewhere along the line that is exactly what happened.

Most of my work is in black and white; my favorite subjects are ones of decay, particularly what I see in the fading towns in West Texas. I hope that my images capture the grace and beauty that can be present even as things disappear from our view.

Locally, my work as been shown at the Buddy Holly Center, at LHUCA (Louise Underwood Center for the Arts), and at the Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport. My images have been shown in various galleries across the country. In August 2022, a collaborative photography project, The Other Side, will debut in Oklahoma City. This multi-year project explores Route 66, concentrating on the chronically overlooked miles by primarily bypassing the tourist attractions and instead seeking the quotidian, the overlooked, and the forgotten along America’s highway: the other side of the road.

I am currently represented by Broadway Contemporary Fine Art Gallery in Lubbock, Texas.
