Hilton McLaurin

I became a full-time artist in 1987, focusing on sculpture and pewter casting. In 2005 I began creating landscape paintings with acrylics and oils on canvas, attracted by the color not seen in pewter. My primary subject is the Great Southwest of the United States. I began with painting instruction from William Hook and Albert Handell, from those two Masters I learned about the dedication required to be an artist.
